About this listen

John Milton thought he could run forever. He was wrong.

For years, former secret service agent and trained killer John Milton thought he could outrun his past, his demons and his enemies. His enemies had other ideas.

Captured and imprisoned by the organisation he once worked for, Milton must do one last job in exchange for his freedom. Bullheaded billionaire fixer Tristan Huxley is brokering a weapons deal between Russia and India. He needs protection and he wants Milton by his side. Huxley has trusted Milton with his life before but these days his world is more decadent and his enemies more dangerous, in ways that nobody could ever have suspected.

Finally, the man who thought he’d never be forgiven has the chance to wipe the slate clean, once and for all. But is it really a case of no more running for Milton? Can the Group be trusted to keep their word and let him go? And who is it that really needs protecting?

After all, nobody is bulletproof, not even John Milton.

I think I say this every time, but this is my new favourite Milton book of all time, and I have read them all. This time sees him globe trotting, and trying to keep a 'not quite so nice guy' safe. I had to listen to this in one sitting, it's way too good to put down. One again brilliantly read by David Thorpe.

The best Milton book ever!

John Milton’s journey into retribution for his past continues in Bulletproof. Unlikely alliances new foes but how long can this go on for..
The 20th book in the series enhance the legend…

Yet another brilliant story in a series that I can’t get enough of. Excellently delivered by David Thorpe as always.

I love John Milton.

This story is one of the best ones I have read. I love the way the author manages is to hook you into wanting to know what happens in the next episode while tying up many of the loose ends. I don’t know what else to say, besides, another rollercoaster of excitement with attention to detail and the ability to make the action scenes so well described that you feel like you’re watching.

Really brilliant
