Wow 10/10, ate down, devoured in a day, no notes. This is a new author for me, I’m so glad I was recommended this book!
Ramsey is the kind of morally grey, obsessive MMC that’ll have you questioning all your standards — in the most delicious way. He’s a HUSBAND 😍 and the MFC Hazel? She gives as good as she gets, she was not a damsel in distress she was a damsel ready to cause distress and I love her. Their dynamic is fiery, messy and impossible to look away from.
This was such a good book and the audio? The narrators nailed it. This book had ALL the tropes. If you’re into tattoos & piercings, enemies-to-lovers, forced proximity, or second chance romance with tension, spice and a darker twist, this book is for you. I can’t wait to continue the series. I heard book 2 may be even better. 😉

I loved the narration!! Aiden has the perfect gravelly voice for Ramsey and I loved listening to them together.
Ramsey isn’t prepared to let Hazel go and comes up with some ways to keep her!
I loved their dynamic and it was clear from the start that these two still had feelings for another even tough life got in the way.
Ramsey was in for it and Hazel was mean but in a good way, Ramsey had it coming and took it while also never giving up the fight.
This book had a different take on the whole second chance, small town romance and it was refreshing and hot at the same time.
