Some very good advice and inspiration for getting better at managing information. However, I would agree with others that it could be half the length without losing much valuable insight.

Worthwhile ideas, but a little drawn out

With self help books I read them, the input goes into my brain, but rarely does it result in any actual output. This one actually does. I started implementing the 2nd brain soon after and has meant my first brain is free to think, problem solve and generally be less stressed. I don’t need to worry about where any notes or information is - my number 2 deals with all that.

I’m not into organisation or file management so wasn’t hopeful for this book.

Previous attempts to adopt systems like this have been frustrating and overwhelming for me.
They felt like another responsibility and never truly payed off.

This one has worked perfectly!

Tiago Forte has fixed my organisation problems for me and the little habits I have implemented have truly been profound for my work flow.

So a pleasantly surprised 5*’s from me

While I found the book useful I do think this could have been shortened to deliver key points. I imagine Tiago’s website complements the book but don’t add life changing, I have yet to check so I could be proven wrong

To anyone thinking about getting this book I would first check out his website and build your second brain there
