Taboo Romance
This is a taboo romance between Laz and Mia, his step-daughter.
At first I didn't like it but then as it warmed up, the story really started to grow on me.
Laz for all his bravado was just a toughy with a warm under belly and like all of us, just wanted to be loved.
Mia had an excruciating upbringing with her terrible mother and it was good to watch her blossom under the loving gaze of Laz. I didn't, however, agree with his underhandedness of how he played her to getting what he wanted.
I was underwhelmed that the story didn't deal with the blow back to Mia's mother and uncles behaviour which was despicable.
The narration by #GideonFrost and #PJMorgan was excellent!

Well... I've expected for more...
It was okay, I guess? 𝕯𝖎𝖉𝖓'𝖙 like it as much as I thought I would. The 𝖘𝖒𝖚𝖙 was good (𝖓𝖔𝖙 𝖗𝖊𝖆𝖑𝖎𝖘𝖙𝖎𝖈 at all 😂)
But the MMC was 𝖆𝖓𝖓𝖔𝖞𝖎𝖓𝖌... The MFC made me feel 𝖇𝖆𝖉 for her, I 𝖉𝖔𝖓'𝖙 think I could 𝖋𝖔𝖗𝖌𝖎𝖛𝖊 her almost 𝖘𝖙𝖊𝖕-𝖉𝖆𝖉...
I'll try the next book in the series.

Hot & intense
This was an intense age gap - taboo romance. Mia & Laz are so hot together, their chemistry is off the charts. Once they both give in and realize how each other truly feels. Their families are both awful and put them both through absolute hell.

Good storyline, wished it was a little longer with a bit more background of Mia’s mum when she was younger.
