At first I didn't like it but then as it warmed up, the story really started to grow on me.
Laz for all his bravado was just a toughy with a warm under belly and like all of us, just wanted to be loved.
Mia had an excruciating upbringing with her terrible mother and it was good to watch her blossom under the loving gaze of Laz. I didn't, however, agree with his underhandedness of how he played her to getting what he wanted.
I was underwhelmed that the story didn't deal with the blow back to Mia's mother and uncles behaviour which was despicable.
The narration by #GideonFrost and #PJMorgan was excellent!

But the MMC was 𝖆𝖓𝖓𝖔𝖞𝖎𝖓𝖌... The MFC made me feel 𝖇𝖆𝖉 for her, I 𝖉𝖔𝖓'𝖙 think I could 𝖋𝖔𝖗𝖌𝖎𝖛𝖊 her almost 𝖘𝖙𝖊𝖕-𝖉𝖆𝖉...
I'll try the next book in the series.
