Another sweet story from Chelle Bliss. I’m loving this little spin off from the main line of characters Chelle has created in her heatwave series. It’s really nice to see how both characters grow emotionally throughout the book and learn to let each other in.

Jason Clark and Samantha Brentmoor do a fantastic job with the narration once again.

I really thought this book was going to be about a rugged bad boy Alpha biker, however this main character has so many different layers to him, with a Beautiful personality and a caring centre he just needed the right lady to bring that side out in him. A fantastic performance.

Finally, Crow's story! And it was worth the wait. Crow was just released from jail for killing someone accidentally who was bullying some young kids. I loves Chelle Bliss' realistic view of all the darker aspects of what a jail sentence means to a person's life. But his innate goodness and wonderful way of interacting with Birdie and her daughter Mia made my heart explode. Their relationship was beautiful (and I mean the entire family) and it was a story that had me rooting from the beginning for their HEA. And then add in all the club members, both those who we saw before and those who we see in the future. I can't wait for the next installment!

Now, living through this story via Jason Clarke and Samantha Brentmoor is a pleasure. His gravely voice, her smooth voice and their ability to play multiple characters drew me into this beautiful story even more. The audiobook is the way to go!
