Story
As a teenager, Kristin Berry had heard all the horror stories surrounding foster care and adoption - abuse, neglect, rejection, anger, and misunderstandings. But instead of closing her heart, God opened it wide. This is Kristin's honest, unvarnished story of some of her experiences as a foster parent of 23 children over the course of nine years. What she learned is that living in a foster home is like living with a revolving door. You never know who will arrive or who you will have to say goodbye to. Leaving the door open means there will be heartache and pain, but also adventure and unexpected joy.

Wonderful story
So i’m gonna be honest and upfront. I normally don’t read or listen to these kind of books. I am not a drama or true life type stories. If it was a movie I would classify it as family drama. I really enjoyed this book thoroughly. I’m a science-fiction type guy but I happen to meet the author and she told me about it. I listen to it ...&.... I loved it. The story of a miracle baby and young girl in the south. The sport of this book was up lifting to me at the right time. Thank you Judy. I’m sorry you had to endure this to tell this tail. So yes get it. Please it’s sweet, it’s kind, it’s sad and it’s well worth the time. It’s got a wonderful story a little roller coasters I am I recommending it fully. I listen to it on as I went to work back-and-forth in three days. Couldn’t wait to get back in my car to finish. I’ve met the person who wrote this she is a fabulous wonderful human being I’m so glad she turned onto this book!
