Summary

Three short stories of horror

"Eenie Meenie"

Something lives in the big, black plastic garbage bag. Something that isn’t human. Something that depends on the goodwill of others to provide it with food. Fortunately, it’s not particular if its meal is dead, long dead...or alive.

"Red Racing Stripes"

All he wanted was a little paint modification for his new car.

"UnSub"

Lt. Sean Walsh puts his reputation on the line during the hunt for a vicious serial killer. The last thing he expected was for the hunted to become the hunter.

When I've finished I'm taking you with me.

Three short stories of this book are quite creepy horror tales which benefit by leaving much to the reader's immagination. Being very well constructed adds to their power.
Although each is too short to allow for it's own synopsis without totally destroying it's content for the new reader, the titles can be safely named: so, included are:
- Eeny meeny
- Red racing stripes
- Unsub.
Each is strikingly different from it's predecessor and well worth trying.
I was very fortunate in being freely gifted with a complimentary copy of Broken, by the rights holder, at my request. Thank you. The stories were well performed by narrator, Michael J.Ferry, the stories surprising and perfect for those odd periods of time, too short for a full novel.. A recommended quick read.
