Brenda and Effie are living it up on the continent. Holidaying in Paris, they are menaced by a mysterious Peeping Tom with a limp and a hump, who warns them that they must never return home to Whitby again. Untold disaster will take over the world if they go anywhere near the North Yorkshire coast.... Brenda owns a guesthouse by the sea and her best friend, Effie, runs the junk shop next door. But together they have another role as the guardians of Whitby against the vampires, daemons, and creatures of the night that continually plague the quaint but terrifying town.

A great finale for Brenda and Effie, the idea of ninja, witchy Bronte sisters made me laugh a lot, and as a past visitor to the parsonage the graveyard really is as gruesome and creepy as described. I'm not mentioning the locals. Best not. Glad to have a panda cameo, too.

The further incredible adventures of Whitby’s favourite two guardians - Brenda and Effie. Monster adventures with a touch of proper northern humour and plenty of time for a fish supper.

These stories have got me through these lockdowns and kept me thoroughly entertained!!
