I’ve read the yellow kitchen by the same author and I thought this book was quite the same sapphic relationship, female led, cooking however part 5 of this story changed that for me. She opens this book up as a debate and prompts you to really think of society from the perspective of women. The book deals with themes of consent, family, relationships, money, gender roles, sexuality and trauma. This book is excellent
