Summary

Ranch owner Trevor Wild loves nothing more than spending his day in the saddle riding in the Texas sun. He's passionate about being the latest generation of Wild man to breed quarter horses on Wildhorse Ranch. But in the aftermath of inheriting a bad business deal the Ranch is in serious financial trouble, and this serious cowboy needs to look outside the box to save his family's pride and joy.

Glamping guru, Sabrina Hearthstone, is the best of the best at what she does, and she could very well be Trevor's saving grace. The blonde beauty arrives at Wildhorse Ranch ready to get the job done. She's all business when it comes to bringing a little luxury to the leather and dirt clad Ranch. But soon she'll realize that to renovate the Ranch for Glamping she may have to renovate its cowboy too.

Sabrina is tempting on a whole lot of levels for Trevor - when he gives into both her touch, and the 1,000 thread count bed sheets, he finds that she soothes his soul. However, Sabrina's world is a difficult thing for the hardened cowboy to accept. Trevor will have to learn to accept Sabrina and her changes to his world, not only to save Wildhorse Ranch, but to save a love he never expected to find.

Fun Sort Ranch Romance

I received a free review copy of this audiobook and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Breaking the Cowboy's Rules was a fun short romance story based on a ranch where city girl meets cowboy. The narrator did a great job with the characters and brought the story together as a whole. The story is fast paced about a cowboy Trevor Wild who is set in his ways and struggling financially to keep his family ranch afloat so hires a company to set up glamping on the ranch to save it. Sabrina Hearthstone is a great glamping expert and the opposite of Trevor, she is spontaneous, outgoing and a keen at upcycling. They soon fall for each other working closely together but Trevor finds it difficult keeping to his rigid schedules with Sabrina about and with her being so accident prone he tends to be fixing her mistakes more than not.

This is a great short audiobook definitely worth a listen.

Breaking the Cowboys rules

I’ve enjoyed quite a few of Leslie North’s books and I love that a lot of them are on the shorter end so they’re great for quick reads. Usually I find it difficult to get into a short audiobook but this one was really great. I really love the characters in the story and the narration by Rebecca Roberts helped pull me in and make it easier to get into the shorter listen.

Mouth noises

I love the idea of this book. It was fun, interesting plot and intriguing characters. But I had a hard time getting past the mouth noises of the narrator. She did a good job, otherwise! Though I do wish their was more contrast between some voice. I did like this horse book, and I don't usually like very many.

Audiobook Obsession

This was a very cute story. I loved Sabrina’s positivity. Most don’t like that, but I did. I also liked how the cowboy couldn’t seem to rid himself of her. It was fun to read.

Cute fun romance!

Another classic Romance from Leslie North. It's a cute story and easy listen. I loved Sabrina's positivity and she offsets Trevor's personality so much! Rebecca did an excellent job at narration, bringing a lot of warmth to the characters.

Short, sweet, steamy fun listen

What does a cowboy do when he inherits a ranch that is falling down around him….he looks for ways to make it pay. In steps Sabrina an Adventure Coordinator who tries to put the ranch back on its feet with Trevor dragging his heels all the way. If you are looking for a fun, steamy read this is the story for you.

Trevor is a list maker, stick to a time frame where Sabrina is more of a free spirit looking at trash and making something wonderful out of it. These two butts heads every chance they get. Yes Trevor knows she is there to bring the ranch back into the black but he doesn’t want his life to change he wants her to work around him and his men doing her thing but leaving him out of it.

Ms. Roberts as always gives you a wonderful audio that is free of background noise. Her tones are right on point giving lots of emotion with just the correct pause between sentences. Her character voices are clear, lively showing every emotion her characters feel. Her male voices are strong manly, her female sweet and sexy showing innocents when they might not be so innocent. I love how she bring the story to life as she puts emotion into her read never leaving you guess as to how the character feels or what they are thinking. She always delivers a high quality audio that is highly entertaining. There are no volume changes, if any breaks were taken I could not tell, the audio is very clear and clean just a pleasure to listen to. She truly has a lovely voice with wonderful character voices it is really surprising how many different voices she has that sounds so different and truly fits each character.

I enjoyed watching Sabrina take nothing and making something beautiful out of it and the conflict Trevor and her have over it. Trevor thinks she is all glamour with nothing much in the brain department. Lord the ideas she comes up with and her outfits are just not for ranch life. Well she does look wonderful in those tight fitting jeans but really……Sabrina thinks he is good looking and what a body but Lord the roadblocks he puts up. I loved when they washed the horse what fun and hummm how it turned out. I really had to chuckle.

The story has a great plot with some very heated steam. It is fun and keeps you smiling as these two come together sparks fly giving the reader a very entertaining listen.

Love the book

Very well read. The only downside is its a female voice instead of a sexy male voice that she usually has.

Audible: Spell the title correctly... sheesh

I was provided this audiobook through Audiobook Boom at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator in exchange for an unbiased review.

Great narration job by Rebecca Roberts. Clean and well pronounced words. Good character definitions.

First, I want to say that I did enjoy it. I’d love to say the story was intricate and well grounded but I can’t. The background to the ranch’s economic problem was quickly dealt out and the solution of Glamping was suddenly there with no secret plans or twists of fate that delivered Sabrina to the ranch. Her plans weren’t revealed enough to define the Glamping experience over all and her dread that she messes everything up, well, nothing seemed too bad to me. It was cute how Trevor fell for the glittery Sabrina, even before she showed her ranch experience, albeit little. I think she could have been a stronger presence than portrayed to balance the ruggedness of Trevor. The fact he was a twin didn’t play into anything, really; another missed opportunity.

Summed up, it was a light and cute romance. Nothing to think hard about. No deep drama, just some good sexy chemistry.

One Thumb Up!

Cute Short Story

I received this audiobook free for an honest review. This was a cute, quick story. The cowboy story with Trevor and Sabrina is a typical love story. Hardened cowboy whose family ranch is failing and he's trying to find a way to keep it going. Enter Sabrina, a sophisticated, beautiful woman who is there with an idea to bring in money and change the way Trevor sees things. The narrator did a great job with the characters. I enjoyed this light-hearted story.

Trevor is stickler for rules and schedules. Sabrina is a little more carefree. Its wonderful to watch them balance each other out.
I really loved the characters. It was sweet, had some steamy parts and even made me laugh in parts.
It's worth the listen.

I loved it!

I loved this super cute story! It’s about Trevor, cowboy on a farm with financial problems and Sabrina, a witty girl, sent to make the farm ready for glamping. It was so much fun, listening to those two characters and learning how they grew to love each other. It made me smile a lot. The narrator did a very good job as well and I really recommend it.
