Good for Bad Eating Habits
I do know I have bad habits around food and this book is helping me to understand why I eat the way I do. Surprisingly, although I thought I knew a lot about dieting and my diet I have learnt what a big part your subconscious has to play in your daily choices. I have seen a difference in a short time and I’m not dieting any more but making good choices with a different mindset, great! So many great tips and tricks too all new to me and really make a difference.

This book was just what I needed to finally stop binge eating... After being overweight all my life, I'd finally found an eating plan that suited my lifestyle and preventative health goals, and I found it in intermittent fasting. The only issue? Fantastic book!
This great book was obviously very well researched, as it dives deeply into the science of nutrition and how our bodies work. The author explains these processes in a very simple, easy to follow way. It was great to learn and understand these in order to take some positive action towards changing eating habits.
I am guessing many of us are stuck in bad routines, which we accept as a norm. I definitely was... What we don’t realise, is that we are in control.
Change can be hard, but it’s possible and definitely achievable. Small steps, small changes, they all add up and will ultimately lead to great results.

Great motivation!
This audiobook is excellent for a young individual who wants to get encouragement for changing the habit of eating. As a certified nutrition consultant, specializing in blood sugar stabilization and a certified personal trainer, I read the research, nutrition, and science publications more than most people. I can see some of the information here needs to update and corrected. For example, the author recommended having a whey protein powder for breakfast, as a reason for fast digestion, but in the meantime, the author discusses blood glucose and insulin that can cause a rise in blood sugar. Many research has shown whey protein causes an increase in insulin and causes blood sugar spikes. One research mentioned that whey protein causes blood sugar spikes more than a piece of white bread. When you want to prevent a blood sugar spike, you don’t want a protein or food that has fast digestion unless you just finish a heavy lifting session. In this case, you get a good hack from this window of opportunity. Also, too much protein eating in a meal can spike blood sugar, most people do not know about this, and in this case, also the author.
As I mentioned, it’s good for young people but not for people who are over 40. I’m almost 50 myself and work with clients in their 40s, 50s, and 60s and I speak instead of people over 40,
The audiobook overall showed breaking bad eating habits can help young people to get into healthy habits and they will enter their 40s with no health problems or less health problems. I love that it's motivated with the right attitude for helping more people to have a positive habit change.

Very Informational
Listening to this give me very good ideas on quitting my bad eating habits. I had been eating bad for years. I tried to change my bad eating habits for the longest but I will some how bounce back because I been eating the same way sense I was baby which you mentioned in this book. This book motivated me to change my bad eating habits. Highly recommend people to buy this book. I believe everyone should learn how to eat healthier.

I was wrong!
Before listening to this audiobook, I was so wrong about my eating habits. I was dieting all the time and came to find out that I don't have to be in a diet my whole life but just make a few adjustments. By following all these strategies, I could keep my healthy weight and still have energy to enjoy my family and the important things. I love the chapter about mindfulness. Wow i wasn't aware that by practicing mindfulness I could change my habits. The author did a great job with details and steps to follow.

Comprehensive!
I love how this book covers all aspects of eating - including the emotions behind overeating. There are detailed explanations about how your body chemistry works, suggested changes and even recipes. I'll probably listen to this several times to get every detail. Great book!

Break those habits!
This book is crammed with helpful and insightful information for pregnant women. I have learned a lot about the science of nutrition and how it affects our health, both in the short-term and long-term. The author does an excellent job of explaining how we develop bad habits and how to break those habits and replace them with good ones. I will be recommending this book to all my friends who are pregnant or planning to become pregnant.
