Summary

Es ist dunkel, ein Unwetter tobt und die junge Lehrerin Cass will so schnell wie möglich nach Hause. Als sie auf der verlassenen Landstraße ein parkendes Auto sieht, trifft sie eine folgenschwere Entscheidung. Sie steigt nicht aus, um der Fahrerin Hilfe anzubieten. Sie fährt weiter. Von Schuldgefühlen geplagt, fragt sie sich, ob sie die schreckliche Tat hätte verhindern können. Dann erhält sie plötzlich anonyme Anrufe - am anderen Ende nur bedrohliches Schweigen. Ist der Mörder jetzt auch hinter Cass her?
