A snuggle-up-and-enjoy story, heartwarming but at times also emotional. Harlow and Kody are lovely, but for me Buddy is the star of the show. Kristen Saburn does a good job narrating the book.

Loved the narration from Kristen Saburn, she brings the humour, emotion and romance to your ears.

Harlow is working three jobs, she comes across as clumsy, accident prone, She is a heart of cold and self doubt a wide long. While delivering coffee she trips and spills coffee over Kody Walsh the captain for the Wolves hockey team. Kody’s golden retriever Buddy takes a big shine to Harlow. Buddy even finds Harlow when she gets locked into a cupboard. Kody, Harlow and the match making dog Buddy start dating. Both Harlow and Kody struggle from with self doubt and over heard conversation leads to miss understanding. Buddy wants his people back together.
These two are perfect together. This is a gentle romantic book, with the right amount of angst and a whole lot of softness.
