This has four separate story based on the turn of the century. I wasn't expecting much but I was surprised to find that I really liked it. I wanted to finish listening to it in one sitting that's how good it is.In each story the characters and plot is different. There were twist in a few of them, suspense, intrigue, romance (of course), friendships and family.
The book isn't perfect. Some of the females views tend to be more modern for that time period and because they are short stories there is no character build up. I would have liked to know a bit more about some of the characters. But even with these negative views I still love it and gave it five stars.
I would recommend this to everyone since it is a clean/sweet read which is suitable for all.
