I fell straight into this book. I'd just listened to My Perfect Son and it wasn't for me, so listening to lovely Charley was refreshing! I was captured by the character and her narrative straight away.

It doesn't have the same twists in my opinion as some of Freida McFadden's other novels. But I didn't mind. The depth and intensity wasn't quite the same as some others but...

I enjoyed it. It was a different journey. It was easy to listen to and I thought the narrator was great.

My first Freida McFadden book as i’ve heard a lot about her but have to say this was very disappointing.
No decent twists and really quite predictable. The end was too cheesy so i was relieved when it was over.
