Summary
Do you tend to struggle in personal or professional relationships? Do you find it difficult preventing others from walking all over you? Or do you simply feel that people don't treat you with enough respect?
If so, then it is likely that you have trouble establishing functional boundaries with the people in your life. Healthy boundaries allow us to enjoy relationships and connect with others in a harmonious way. They also serve to protect us and let other people know how we want to be treated.
Unfortunately, many of us do not learn about setting boundaries and how to be assertive during childhood. This is often due to a dysfunctional upbringing which leaves wounds upon our inner child. This book will inform the listener of the basis of boundary setting, through visiting their past, healing it, and finally moving beyond. This will be achieved by demonstrating how to develop emotionally by improving self-esteem, which is a necessity for a healthy personality.
With the information presented you will be able to begin setting healthier boundaries in all areas of life including family, work, and intimate relationships. You will learn exactly how to:
- Develop functional boundaries
- Deal with difficult people
- Boost self-esteem
- Heal your past
- Heal your inner child
- Emotionally heal
- Gain assertiveness
- Improve relationships
- Develop emotionally
Once you learn these vital life skills, your world begins to open up and your connection to others becomes more authentic. If you want more from life and would love to find more fulfillment in your relationships, listen to this book.

FAKE REVIEWS?
What disappointed you about Boundaries & Emotional Development?
When i was reading the reviews, I couldn't help notice that all the positive reviews were written by the same person. They all sounded the same and were all written in the same style with broken English, essentially saying the exact same things.
Now after having listened to the program, I can confidently say the positive reviews here are fake. The program isn't as the great the reviews suggest nor does it cover the material some of the reviews claim.
Avoid this book and get a legitimate book by a legitimate author.

Boring and predictable. Not worth buying.
This book is absolutely useless. The information in it is something everyone already knows. The author's overuse of pronouns was distracting. His mastery of the subject send elementary. This book is not worth purchasing. I'm not even sure I would read it if it was free.

A bit too generalized
The gentleman reading did a fine job. The content was a bit too general for my needs. In the beginning, the author references a spectrum of boundary issues which leads me to believe there are equally as many possibilities to breach boundaries and to retrain. It could be useful to reference a resource to access depending on where a person is in that spectrum as I imagine that the solution maybe different for the reader who exhibits cold hard lines vs. the reader who exhibits solicitous behavior. Perhaps not. Perhaps it all boils down to self esteem, but my guess is it's just not that simple. I certainly appreciated the insights, but wished for a little more direction for the person with minimal self esteem issues who tends toward being somewhere in the middle of the spectrum.

Stay confident, stay focused
What did you love best about Boundaries & Emotional Development?
I have benefited in knowing how to handle any situation whether at work or at home in a confident and professional way while preventing any damage that can be result from poor approach.
Have you listened to any of Mike Norgaard’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Nothing to compare.
The narrator did an excellent job in delivery.
Any additional comments?
After listening a book about positive thinking, I grabbed this too and the results of listening is really great and am motivated to face my fears much more than ever before. I admit that I don’t have enough self-confidence and I want to boost or improve it so that I can overcome every trial in life with confidence. I did a researched on how to improve my self-confidence and I got this book now.

Amazing and life changing information
This is a really nice way to boost your confidence when you're feeling low or questioning your self esteem levels. I found it helped me assess how I actually feel about myself, so that I can start to value myself more and raise my self esteem which unknowingly tends to get lower if I'm not practicing self love and checking in with myself. Great content!
