Completely hooked, a cut above most of the stuff on this platform. Great story, storytelling and narration.

There’s no mention of YA in the description so I thought I’d give this a try as it came up in my Plus Catalogue recommendations. A few chapters in, and I realised there was something I couldn’t quite put my finger on that was stopping me getting into the story. Digging around on the internet I can see this very firmly YA (hotly anticipated!), so I’m not going to persevere. I’m sure it’s good but I’m not the right audience. The narrator sounds just like Bel Powley. Quite a nice voice but better at a quicker speed.

Absolutely loved this story- I got so fed up with the usual fae type writing, this has given me hope there are good writers out there. Can’t wait for the next.

I loved the story and I loved the narration. Izzy is so relatable, I love the British narration for her, every romantasy readers fantasy of falling in to a Fae world.
