Summary

When miserly millionaire Barnaby Galen is found dead in his dilapidated mansion, two corpses are on the scene - the murder victim and the murder weapon. Staring into the skeleton face of a horror prop called Granny, Galen dies of fright, leaving only enemies and suspects behind. With echoes of Scrooge and the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come, Blue Christmas is a witty, heartfelt romantic mystery that will make fans of Emma Jameson's best-selling series want to stand up and cheer.

Wonderful series

Firstly superb narration. Narrator has an extensive repertoire of voices. I’ve listened to all the books in this series one after the other and will miss these likeable characters. This book seemed to me to be a long epilogue to the series. I do hope it’s not the end, there is scope for more. Having said all that, this was not the best book as most of the secondary characters were missing.

Loved It

I really like this series & somehow fell behind. So this weekend I did a marathon listen to the last 3 books. With what went on in book 4 I'm glad I had book 5 to read immediately. There were times the conversation went a bit fast & I found it hard to understand what I was hearing. I didn't think to slow down the speech, but I did listen several times. I enjoyed this book so much & found it uplifting about Tony & Kate's Christmas present to a family & a surprise diagnosis. Can't wait for Book 6.

OUTSTANDING!

I have read all of the books in this series and I love each one of them! Matthew Lloyd Davies' narration just caps the stories off! PLEASE keep up the great teamwork, Emma and Matthew! Can't wait for the next installment!
