A charming book that made me smile

listening to this book It’s easy to understand why Michael Caine is so well liked by his peers. This book is gentle but very funny in places. It’s well read and easy to listen to. I think it would be a very relaxing book on a long journey, I was left me feeling that Michael Caine would actually be a nice person to know.

'Find what you love and do it as well as you can'

Fabulous anecdotes and great advice from a national treasure who knows he's made a brilliant life from humble beginnings. It's beautifully read by the great man himself and what comes through more than fame and success is the importance of family, doing what you love, being decent and having a bloody good time. Love him and love the book.

Lovely book

Download this lovely book where Michael Caine talks about his life, experiences and memories and uses them as examples for everyone to use. Success and failure are discussed using his extensive portfolio of good and bad work. The anecdotes are wonderful and I loved Michael reading his book as if it was a post dinner party chat over coffee. Recommended listening!

You’ve already heard this

I do love Michael Caine, but this is pretty much the same book he published last time with the same anecdotes. You’ve already heard it.

Bloody brilliant

Truly inspirational stuff. Like a David Niven memoir, but better. Michael provides amazing steers on how to navigate life’s twists and turns. If you have an even passing interest in the arts, this is a strong recommend.

Wonderful insights and delightfully rendered

Michael Caine’s books have been, to me, some of the most wise and entertaining I’ve listened to / read. In a world of missing men to look up to and gain invaluable insights, this book is most welcomed. Never does Michael brag or boast - just openly and honestly says it like is. Thank you once again Mr Caine!
