kept me guessing until the reveal, loved the return of familiar characters although missed hearing as much about "the staff" - waiting for the next one!

A good story. I was so happy the ending was how I wanted it to be, with the murderer. I thought it would be a great outcome as the story went along but then it seemed to take a different direction and I wasn't satisfied. It was a good twist.

I love these books by Benedict Brown. They are great fun. George Blagden does his usual fantastic job of narrating, bringing it all to life.

Once again the detective duo are surrounded by murder. the plot twists and turns as we learn more about the characters. the story line is strong and the narration is reall good.
