Words cannot describe the emotions I’m feeling right now after finishing this book. I’m trying to catch my breath and get myself together but my mind is stuck with Bear and Phoenix and Abe. Questions...so many questions and Shannon is killing it with this world and the characters she brings to life with Khristine. Amazing is really all I can come up with at the moment.

This book has lots of twists and turns, action and it proves you should never mess with or upset a Mama Bear. She takes names and kicks butt. It doesn't matter if it's family or not. You mess with her kid and you are going down.
Shannon Mayer you sure know how to write a story that will keep a body interested from start to finish and you manage to outdo yourself each and every time. Can’t wait for book 3😍

What a rollercoaster that Ms Mayer takes us on in book 2! Action, adventure, twists and turns and I loved hearing Bear’s POV so much! Nix is such a strong woman but her vulnerability makes her relatable too. Amazing narration by Khristine Hvam. I really don’t know what more to say or how this author does it but wow! What an amazing ride.
