About this listen

There is a popular expression among the sellswords of Koragrave.

"Follow the coin."

For the right price, Enzo and Rascal will handle any problem you have. Putting down monsters, transporting dangerous cargo, acquiring valuables, they do it all. The only problem? One of them is locked away in the world's most notorious prison.

It's time for a jailbreak.

After having just read something with more heavy themes, reading this was a nice change of pace. I was engaged enough in the story that I finished it the same day I started listening, the characters all had a distinct voice (brought to life rather well by the narrator, I thought).

A couple of things to be aware of that didn't bother me but worth noting for other people:
(1) The narrator does do voices for the different characters. I personally like this as it helps in distinguishing who is talking and helps in conveying the personalities of these characters, but I'm aware some people find it off putting or something reserved for children's books
(2) There is pretty frequent swearing as well. It makes sense for the characters and environment, but I'm personally not as accustomed to it in the fantasy I read so was initially a little taken aback. Again, not a negative but worth noting for people who might not be aware.

Overall, thoroughly recommended for anyone wanting a fun fantastical romp starring a couple of likeable rogues. 😀

I liked it very much. All I can hope for is to have 5 more Books coming.

Reasonably short book but story never boring. Loved the characters.

Awesome introduction to this world!
