Blood Ties is part two of a three book series. It is not a standalone and does end in a cliffhanger. Ada is surrounded by so many ruthless and dangerous men that it's hard to know who, if any, can be trusted. I still haven't decided if Domino can be trusted or if he will throw Ada to the wolves when he gets the answers he is looking for. This story is intense and dark. Melanie Hastings did a great job bringing this story to life.

This 3 book series is basically a mafia princess kidnapped by an ex employee of her fathers with an ax to grind but as the tale continues it false more deeper into abuse, sex slavery and revenge. Its completely then sprinkled with Stockholm syndrome. Just FYI - there's no romance here.
