What a story it was! Funny, heartwarming and totally engrossing the reader!

Freya and Mac are perfect friends to lovers couple. Their banter is not changing and you can totally connect to them through the story.

I won’t lie the narration helped a lot as the narrators were amazing with giving love to Amy’s words!

Mac is a sweet, sexy and successful football player. He plays the game not only for himself but for those that he loves the most and is determined not to let them down which means not getting distracted by anything and that includes women. Freya is a curvy seamstress who appears to be outgoing and confident but inside she has the same insecurities we all do that when it comes to other people we don’t always measure up.

Mac and Freya are the type of friends that just enjoy the time they spend together where it doesn’t matter what they are doing the banter between them is both hilarious and honest. When a simple game has Freya revealing her lack of experience when it comes to men Mac offers to become her tutor and teach her about all things physical and once that line is crossed their friendship is about to become very complicated.

Fun and flirty there is no denying that they are perfect for each other. She isn’t interested in him for his skills on the field and he sees her beauty even when she doesn’t see it herself. I received a complimentary copy of the audiobook and thought both narrators were excellent with the Scottish and English inflections.

Blindsided was such an awesome story. This friends to lovers novel with its likable, relatable characters, hilarious banter, emotional moments and steamy scenes had me hooked from beginning to end, I enjoyed this story as Freya and Mac had me laughing and highly amused. I loved seeing the progression of their relationship and their story gave me all the feels. This was an enjoyable tale and I would highly recommend it to all lovers of friends to lovers romance.

This duet narration was absolute perfection. I loved Will and Charlotte's voices. They did an excellent job with the characters, with the accents, with the emotions. They had great pace and timing and really brought the story to life. It was an absolute pleasure listening to them narrate this novel.

I loved this book, it was classic Amy Daws. It had everything, humour, love, the crazy Harris family, & a perfect ending. I loved the accents of the narrators, I could listen to the guys voice all day long.

The story was easy to follow along with which I thought would be the hardest part for me since I get distracted and I did have to go back over some chapters since I listened while at work. I think listening to it on audiobook actually made it funnier because I don’t think The Sex would have been as funny in paper as it was listening to them say it haha.

I laughed out loud so many times throughout the book, my coworkers thought I was crazy. The never have I ever game was priceless. I really liked all the Heartland talk since I know how Heartland crazy that Amy is.

Overall this was a great read & I’d definitely give other audiobooks a shot after listening to this one!
