I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the three audiobooks in this series. The author is becoming one of my favourite writers. It’s sad that I’ve read everything that’s currently available on Audible. There are two further books in the Oil Apocalypse series & I eagerly await their release.

Very well written & narrated

I liked this a lot,
A great story as always from a good writer who builds characters well, you get invested in their future. Yes I enjoy a good disaster story and this delivers, we should all ask ourselves not what would we do in the same situation but how would we react, the moral question is posed a number of times and gets you thinking. Lou Cadle is fast becoming my favorite author and Cody Roberts as the narrator puts just enough life to each voice without being over dramatical
I have listened to all three books and will put the same review on each as I have enjoyed each of them equally.

fun ride

Loved the first 2 books but this book is basically about the battle to free the town, very little else, shallow story and plot, did the author run out of ideas and strung this out?

Shallow plot through this drawn out chapter

Is it even possible that this series was written by the author who wrote Gray? Gray was a phenomenal series, right the way through all three books.
This series feels like it’s been written by a teenager.
The first book was good, though completely unrealistic given the situation, the second book was ok, but this one has no substance at all.
A weak plot interspersed with heavy doses of feminism. The main character is a teenage girl, but she is just annoying. Perhaps the author wanted her to be a Leah, from After It Happened, the best book series ever.
I gave up half way through I’m afraid. It was going nowhere.

Weak, dragged out storyline
