Summary

For those who need more Harper and Knox...there's Blaze!

Defeat the enemy. Win the boy. Live happily ever after.

But life "ever after" isn't as easy as it used to be. Harper's gone from being a member of a small demon lair to co-Prime of one of the most powerful lairs in the Untied States, with a mate who, though hot as hell, is just a mite overprotective - I mean, you get kidnapped by dark practitioners just once....

Then one of Knox's demons goes rogue and in his madness decides Knox Thorne must die. Harper's worried. Knox isn't - at least until he discovers his mate's willingness to get between him and danger.

Now Knox has a new priority: Keep Harper safe...no matter what it takes. But Harper begins to suspect there's more danger than one rogue demon. It seems the combined strength of Harper and Knox has upset the balance of power in the demon world, and there are those who are determined to right that wrong. Because when you move up the food chain, sometimes the other predators just want to take a bigger bite.

Follows on where Burn left off and very similar

What made the experience of listening to Blaze the most enjoyable?

The Narration

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

If you are familiar with the author the stories are quite predicable so the ending had no great surprises. There will clearly be a sequel though as there is unfinished business to take care of

Which character – as performed by Cat Doucette – was your favourite?

Harper - though I do like her imp co-workers
Not a great fan of Knox - he is peformed well by Cat but his character is a bit 2 dimensional

Any additional comments?

Its a continuation of the story where Burn left off and there must be a follow on book in the works - If you liked Burn you will like this - but definitely read Burn first
For me the Narration is top class, the story's in this series aren't as good as the Phoenix pack books but they are fine for easy listening whilst doing other things.

The series gets better and better.

This second book in the Dark in You series by Suzanne Wright was every bit as intense and exciting as the first. There are twists in this story that will have your head spinning. I like the way the characters are so well developed especially as each character has a person/dark entity duality sharing one soul/ body. This is an exceptional addition to the series. Romance, danger, suspense. This has a bit of everything.
The narration captures the mood and personalities wonderfully. Suzanne Wright always has amazing narrators working on her audiobooks.

Great listen

This book is better paced than the first book. It was good to hear how Harper & Knox's relationship had progressed. The storyline was interesting and cannot wait to hear the next story in the set

Great book - poor narration

I just loved the book and wanted to get the audio. What an extremely disappointing audio narration. The heroine in the book is feisty and humorous. The way she’s portrayed in the narration makes her sound like a squeaky little girl. Just terrible. I’ve given 5 stars to the story because that’s still great.

Funny for the wrong reasons

Story is very cheesy but the first was too so I was willing to give it a go. However I didn't feel the story moved along enough to hold my interest.
