I was given an ARC for an honest review. And the ebook was unputdownable and the audiobook was an icing on a very delicious cake. Andi Arndt and Sebastian York, two of my favourite narrators, brought this book to life. I fell in love with Cannon Freeman even more. Meghan March didn't disappoint! I am looking forward to the next instalment.

Gripping storyline, great plot twists, interesting minor characters and fantastic love story.

Performance by narrators spot on.

My only gripe is that instead of ending on the cliffhanger the second part of the story should have been in the same volume, it’s so obviously and abruptly been divided to sell two books when one would not have been too long. Bit cynical given the cost of living crisis 🙁
I’m so invested in following the rest of the story I shall just have to cough up
