Summary
The Metal God himself, Rob Halford—lead vocalist of Judas Priest and author of the critically acclaimed and fan-beloved autobiography Confess—delivers a bible of hard rock and heavy metal, all in his enlightening, hilarious, and one-of-a-kind voice.
Rob Halford has long been known for his legendary voice. As the front man of Judas Priest, his vocals have always been tremendous, and tremendously influential. In 2020, he brought his voice to a glorious autobiography. Fans, readers and listeners loved Halford's frank and open narrative, as well as his terrific insight and sense of humour. Now, in Biblical, Halford runs his expert eye over all facets of the hard rock history and the heavy metal world. Biblical is a lively encyclopaedia in which Halford shares his opinions, memories, and anecdotes regarding every element of the rock-and-roll work and lifestyle from tours to tattoos, riffs to riders, and drugs to devil horns. In Halford's relaxed and honest tone, the audiobook mixes serious and in-depth pieces with whimsical reflections on lessons learned during his fifty years of a life in music. Biblical is a handed-down-from-on-high holy tome that transports fans behind the scenes and back into their record collections, to the almighty ways of rock.

100 billion to 1 Rock God
This is another book by Rob that I'll listen to again and again. Loved his stories, loved his humour, and would absolutely love to sit down and have a natter with him. He may be a 100 billion to 1 Rock God, but he also seems to be just a really nice, genuine bloke. Really hoping for a 3rd book from him...

Another great listen!
As a follower or disciple of Priest for almost 50 years, this book still had me hooked. I started this straight after "Confess" and enjoyed both as much as each other. Even after pain and illness these guys still rock, bow your heads and prey for more.

The metal god strikes again!
A fantastic look into the record industry. If you have no knowledge, or are a veteran it’s definitely worth a listen. Coming from the Black Country myself I found the some of Robs terminology easy. This may confuse some global listeners but Rob puts in the best explanations! Give us book 3 Rob!

Honest and Entertaining
Rob really excels in this book, giving you a view into what life has been like for him after 50+ years in heavy metal. It was thoroughly entertaining from start to finish and does read very much like a heavy metal bible but without any boring bits! Love his anecdotes and humour. A must read for any Priest or/and metal fan. Or give it a listen via the audiobook and let his warm Walsall accent take you in a metal journey

Powerfull
Rob must be one of the kindest and most hardcore singer in the world. Great voice both in singing and reading. As he said in the books. "not very JamJam." But he is a great person. With a great personality, and have had a great life. Hopefully, for many years forward.

Heavy Metal Scripture
Great book all around, but especially if you’re in a band. If you’re musically inclined you’ll probably get more from this book than others. You’ll be able to relate and learn from the tales of band managers, producers and tours.
The book is well written and brilliant narrated by Rob Halford himself. It is much more music focused than Confess was, but that is the point. I found the ending of the book quite moving too.
All in all. Great listen and a must listen for Priest fans.

The Metal God writes another classic
Rob Halford returns with his fifty years of wisdom being in a heavy metal band. Always interesting, at times very funny and occasionally moving, he is a gifted writer and speaks from the heart. The Audible version wouldn't have been as good without his familiar Black Country drawl.
As Rob himself says, he always has a lot to talk about so hopefully he has the writing bug and we'll hear from him again soon.
