Magdalene hadn't had things easy loosing her loved ones she's drifted around. Who knew what life had in store for her when a storm made her pull over for fuel. Locklyn can't believe the pull this beautiful woman who's life he saved has on him.
Two people with so much to overcome, things aren't as they seem in locklyn's life, can he overcome years of emotional turmoil.
I loved the story and hope there is more from the club, lots of interesting characters we need more from.
The narrators did a fabulous job.

I'm going to start with Tracy Mark's because she is as always phenomenal. She is one of the few female narrators in my opinion that does a perfect Male voice. I loved the Scottish accent! I know some didn't like her breathy tone in her previous books but it never bothered me. I actually enjoyed it but those that didn't like it will be pleased to hear she dropped it for this book maybe for good🤷‍♀️. Regardless I will gladly listen to her either way. Now about the book. This is my first Bink Cummings book but I'm already looking for another. I loved The MC'S in this book. They are strong and deserving characters that have insecurities that make your heart melt for them. I will warn you that at one point I had to throw my phone down and curse this book. You'll know when you get there. I almost quit but I'm no quitter 😂 So I picked the book/phone back up and swallowed back the tears that tried to start and carried on. I'm so glad I did because this story wasn't done. I can't believe I almost missed the ending. This book is seriously worth a credit.

Loved the book!! I have read the book, but was given an opportunity to have this book on audible, it was well read, the only thing I could fault was the orator trying to do a Scottish accent. I did laugh though!
