About this listen

First published in 1886, Beyond Good and Evil by renowned German philosopher and thinker, Friedrich Nietzsche, expands on the philosophical ideas of his Thus Spake Zarathustra. The audiobook presents a sharp critique of morality and the tendency to view morality in binaries of good and evil, thus rejecting the concept of universal morality for all humankind.

Just finished the audiobook of Nietzsche’s Beyond Good and Evil narrated by Ariel Samson. It’s sharp, provocative, and anything but gentle. Nietzsche basically dismantles traditional morality, religion, and truth as we know it, pushing instead for personal strength and self created values. Ariel Samson’s narration is spot on, calm but intense, making even the dense parts feel alive. Not an easy listen, but a powerful one. If you’re ready to have your assumptions challenged, this is worth it.
