But now he’s looking for a miracle. He must act as team mentor while still striving for the one thing that matters most this season—keeping a promise he made years ago.Megan Gunn works two jobs and spends her spare time helping at the youth center. Her foster son, Cory, is convinced that 49ers quarterback Aaron Hill is his father. Two men and the game they love. A woman with a heart for the lonely and lost, and a boy who believes the impossible. I really loved this book. Great story. the lady reading it had quite a weird way of pronouncing words, which I found off-putting initially. thankfully, I persevered and ended up being touched by a lovely story whoxh I didn't want to end.

lovely story

Would you try another book written by Karen Kingsbury or narrated by Kathy Garver?

I love Karen Kingsbury in spite of Kathy Garver and I have read most of her books. I have another book by Karen in my Audible library and I do hope that Joyce Bean has done a better job than this with Oceans Apart.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

I love listening and I bought Between Sundays because I loved the novel. I can listen for hours but this time one hour is more than enough! I enjoy reading more than once books that I really like and Audible has made ‘reading again’ especially enjoyable. Not this once. I am sorely tempted to hand this one back.

So disappointing !
