I love the Dci Ryan books, the gripping story lines and the humour between the officers which makes me laugh out loud. Being a Geordie myself I love the banter between Frank and Ryan best and seeing Emma's personality growing and coming out with the unwitting humour only a child can manage is adorable. I feel I personally know everyone ( Yes I know they aren't real, but they feel it !!!) and feel tears of emotion at their personal trials. This is another amazing book from L J Ross which I was gutted to finish. I am sincerely hoping another in this series will follow soon. Thanks for an amazing read.

This is a triple whammy....a loss and two separate threats. The past comes back to haunt both Anna and Charlie in a bizarre twist that has the cases overlapping...or do they?
There are many twists in this book that will keep you guessing and whilst we get some good news, one threat remains an unknown and one is still hanging there...
a threat that could drop at any time.....
if it does....
all will pay.
It does end with a mini cliff hanger but will leave you eager for the next book. I listened to this on Audible.

Brilliant twisty story, read with usual class by Jonathan Keeble. Highly recommend all L J Ross audiobooks.
