Detective Chief Inspector Colin Sutton and his murder squad as they investigate one of Britain's most notorious serial killers, Levi Bellfield. From the high-profile murders of Milly Dowler, Marsha McDonnell, and Amélie Delagrange to Bellfield's later claim that he was responsible for the killings of Lin and Megan Russell, Sutton and his team delve deep into the mind and crimes of a ruthless predator. Through interviews with surviving victims, key investigators, and those closest to the cases, this gripping account explores Bellfield's lesser-known offences, his reign of violence, and the relentless detective work that brought him to justice. A compelling true-crime story of murder, investigation, and the pursuit of the truth.

This is literally the audio of the recent Amazon Prime documentary. It’s not a recording made for audio, so unless you know all the voices from knowing the case well and/or from watching the documentary already, it will be a little hard to follow. But for those interested in the case and wanting an audio-only version of the documentary it’s really good.

Not made for audio

As a previous reviewer has said, this is not made for audio and if you've read or listened to Suttons book on Bellfield then there's nothing new to see here. it reeks of Sutton trying to extend his income from every possible facet of his career highlights.... Write a book about Bellfield, oh well how about a possible audio series talking to and about the people involved in that investigation. It is as dull as dishwater and there's no way I'll be making it to part 2. Save your money!

Why is this on Audible?

Despite the mixed reviews, I found this genuinely worthwhile. Colin Sutton brings the same steady, intelligent approach he’s known for, grounding the darker moments with real investigative insight. It’s not an easy listen, but it’s a strong one — and Sutton’s involvement makes all the difference.

Worthwhile
