Being Seen

She waits at the far end of the empty ballroom, restless and obscured by shadow. Here in the lightless corners, there is cover…an illusion of safety, where the only judgment suffered is her own.

Since 2004, author, photographer, and speaker, Don Hajicek, has been bearing witness to the divine feminine through what he describes as the lens of love. Breast cancer, divorce, sexual assault, war...Don Hajicek works with women, and so he works with survivors. He has discovered (and documents here) that there is great healing in the process of being seen, whether it is through the lens of a camera or not.
