Summary

A serial predator is on the prowl in Liverpool—seven victims so far—and he’s already chosen his next one.

The police can’t catch him. He leaves no trace. No one has been able to provide a reliable description.

Detective Cassie Rowan goes undercover in a dangerous game of cat and mouse through the teeming backstreets of Liverpool. But how long will it be before he turns the tables and begins hunting her?

This book is quite good but I did find it abit slow. The story had alot going on but the excitement and anticipation didn't come through for me.

Quite good

Full of great descriptive detail, fast paced, you never knew what would happen next, complex storyline and performed with ease. A gripping listen.

Scary and complex

If you can get past the ever changing accent attempts, only some of the words of dialogue actually being vaguely Scouse at best, then the story is really good. The narrator seemingly went on a tour of bad regional accent attempts and didn’t nail any of them. It was so bad I nearly gave up a few minutes in. I’d recommend reading in physical book form if you’re able to, and I think it would benefit from being re-recorded by someone else who can manage northern/Scouse accents.

Good story badly narrated

I enjoyed the story and the characters. The narrators attempt at accents and pronunciation of some words was awful almost comical, which was a shame as the rest of the narration was very good.

Enjoyed the story

Story was okay and it had enough to keep me engaged. However, the accents for the setting of Liverpool was horrifying.
I was sure AI had a hand in its narration.
Not a scouser to be found… very bizarre!
