CONSTANT DRAMA!
The story started like the predictable fairytale, soon dissolving into a nightmare. There is a 13 year gap between the main characters (18 and 31) which is integral to the storyline and dealt with throughout, so I spent the majority of this book nervous, waiting for the inevitable sh*t show to happen once all the details were made public. Quite enjoyed this book - the constant drama kept me thoroughly entertained!

Age Gap
18 FMC, 35 MMC. This felt too much like grooming for me. Her age is mentioned a lot, and he calls her 'baby girl.' The narration is great and the writing is good. Just not for me.

Enjoyable
What made the experience of listening to Becoming Mrs. Lockwood the most enjoyable?
Although it was fairly predictable, it is a good story. You want to know what happens next and it is easy to understand how Wren must feel.

lovely fairy tale romance
beautiful story telling. Long book but I was in mood for that. would have loved the male narrator to have been given more chapters to balance the book. age gap didn't bother me at all. wish the book didn't make a big deal of it as it just ruined the story . strong heroine and Alpha gentle Hero.

Very nice pleasant story
I had no issue with the age gap. Really like the story and how they work through the issues the gap can bring.

An ok listen!
I was looking forward to this based on reviews and synopsis but was disappointed at the lack of story and over sexed scenes which boarded on controlling and uneasiness sadly.

My favourite
I adore this story. I love that it’s a love story but with added plot - something that is severely lacking in most of these types of books. The characters are true to themselves, there’s no sudden change in personality to fit in some extended drama just to torture the characters for no real reason. I wish more of these types of stories were so well thought out and executed!

Easy listening
I enjoyed this book. In the start, I was a little put off by the way this marriage started. A young girl and an older man who should make better decisions. But as the story folds out, I understand more, and I get less judgemental.
It is a "standard romance book" so you know what to expect, and this book does the job.
I recommend it!
