This audiobook certainly makes you think about what, why and when you put in your mouth I have already started to apply strategies and some mini habits in my own life. I hope they will help.

An excellent audiobook for those trying to understand why changing eating habits is so tricky. The author also gives solid, practical advice and exercises for rewiring the brain to restore natural eating habits. This isn’t just some advice on how to lose weight. If you are a person who likes to know the “why” behind behaviors, this is the book for you! I have personally experienced brain rewiring (for different life-long behaviors) as a result of trauma healing, so I know this specific rewiring will work and I’ve already begun the process.

Most diet books do not hold my attention but this book is the solution. This audiobook has helped me greatly in my weight loss journey. Because the focus is on cognitive therapy and much of the weight loss help is emotional and mindset. I'm using this, along with a couple of diet books, to lose weight. A fantastic strategy that uses the same type of gradually learning and reminders that helped me when I needed counseling for my marriage years ago. That worked, and I'm confident this will, too.

One of the best books in this genre that I've listened to. It made me address a lot of my issues with my body, food habits and my self-talk. It has had a positive effect on me from the beginning.

This is not just another a dieting audiobook. It does not have recipes. It does not tell you to eliminate this or that from your diet — none of that crap. None of the usual 'you need to motivate yourself' hype.
This book can change your life. I know - I've been dieting all my life and got nowhere, but can see how the strategies described in this audiobook can change it forever. If we want to lose weight, he argues, our goal should not be losing weight but changing our behavior. And this is achievable through changing our habits because consistency is the key to lasting behavioral change.
Excellent listening, real strategy, easy changes for anyone to make with lasting results, reliable, evidence-based references, lost 10 pounds in 2 months with nearly no effort, the spouse is losing weight and didn't know it due to the environmental changes in our home, highly recommend.
