I read this book with my eyes over a year ago but, shame on me, I didn’t review it then. Receiving a copy of the audiobook was the nudge I needed to finally do a review.

I haven’t read a lot of books with a plus-size male lead character and that aspect of the story attracted me a lot. Plus size people deserve to find their HEA, too. The story isn’t a long one but it felt longer – in a good way. Being a plus-size gal myself, I can certainly relate to Logan and his lack of self-confidence. Caine had a very difficult time convincing Logan that he was interested in him and didn’t see his size as a problem. With patience, he finally made Logan realize that despite the way he sees himself, other people don’t always see him that way.

The story has some very nice smexy time and John Solo had perfect voices for Logan and Caine. His performance of this story greatly enhanced my enjoyment of it.

A short sweet story about self esteem and lack there of. And that love make people beautiful!
It’s a great start on a series.

I really enjoyed this audio version of one of my favourite books. The sweet story about unexpected love was beautifully brought to life by a first rate narrator. A lovely, relaxing listen with a side of sweet emotion.

Beautifully Built is a sweet but quick story about an overweight guy named Logan who has low self esteem. When he meets Caine, a bar owner, it’s love at first sight, but Logan’s insecurities are a huge obstacle to their happy ever ending. It’s a nice story with some internal angst, fluff, and funny moments, with a happy ending. I enjoyed listening to this audiobook in one day and enjoyed it.
