About this listen

I swore I’d cut Harrison King out of my life, and my bed, forever.

The second my contract with the ruthless billionaire who owned me was up…

I ran.

Not knowing that decision would only twist the web around us tighter.

Now, he’s back, and the sins of his past threaten to destroy us both.

He still thirsts for power and vengeance. But his secrets run deeper than I knew.

This time, he wants me to stand by his side.

This time, he’s asking.

Beautiful Sins is the steamy, enthralling continuation of Harrison and Reagan’s romance that begins in Beautiful Enemy!

Piper Lawson continues letting us get to Rae and Harrison! These two are a mess, and nothing seems to work for them. As we find out about Rae's past, and how she dealt with it gives us a good understanding of what has shaped her. Harrison is still trying to clear his parents' names, but this does not take precedence over his want and need for Rae. Twists, turns, spicy romance, deceptions and a building love keep us intrigued as the series is continues. What is to love about this installment? I love the magnetic force that keep pulling Rae and Harrison together.I love the complexity of Harrison's family past and how it is effecting the storyline. I love Rae's need to be successful on her own, and also the way she thinks when it comes to Harrison's new project. And while cliffhanger's are not my favorite thing, this one is fabulous! Keep me on the edge as I wait for Beautiful Ruin! Can't wait to listen.

Samantha Brentmoor and Shane East keep treating our ears with their fantastic narration. Brentmoor is keeping Rae real. She has attitude, and compassion, not an easy feat to bring out in a voice. I love her ability to bring out every emotion and make me feel it as the story continues. East with his smooth voice and alluring accent wins me over, loving Harrison. This billionaire can't catch a break and East has a way of voicing Harrison to sound believable, from his pain and frustration to his seducing ways. This is an amazing team, and I am looking forward to more.

The story continues with Harrison and Rae, this is an angst age-gap DJ / Billionaire romance, with a storyline that will hook you from the start and never let go, After the last cliffy the story takes a new turn, and we see more into each character, the chemistry keeps burning up and we get another cliffhanger that will have you wanting to start the next one asap. The narration is done by Shane East and Samantha Brentmoor was fantastic, well paced, great and clear pronunciation, editing was good and sound volume well balanced.

I thought reading the book was good but listening to Rae and Harrison is divine! This second instalment of the audio left me longing for more, much like the book, only now I know their voices, and what their emotions sound like. My words cannot do justice to the brilliance of not only the story, but the fantastic choice of narrators too.

Just WOW

This is the second book in The Enemies Trilogy. This series is interconnected with the Rivals Series. Harrison and Reagan (Rea)'s romance continues where the first book left off. Their push and pull relationship is breathtaking. The storyline is captivating, filled with twists and turns. This is a great age-gap and slow burn romance. Shane East and Samantha Brentmoor did an outstanding job with the narration. The story ends with a cliffhanger, and now, I am looking forward to listening to Beautiful Ruin, the last book in Harrison and Rea's story.

Cliffhanger!
