Old wounds need healing in this book. A friends to lovers storyline with a unique twist. These guys in this sleepy town are so likeable. Great performance from both Jenna and Gunnar.

I loved this book so much!! It was shorter than the previous ones in the series, but it was just as good!!

Finally, Abbott’s story! I was waiting for his redemption and while it felt a little rushed because it was a short entry in this series, it was well done. Abbott is drowning in guilt because he feels like he has done so much wrong to London, including leading to London’s boyfriend (and baby daddy’s death). He has loved her forever and she has loved him too. This is a friends to lovers romance but well done with glimpses into their past to provide even more support for their love. This was a good book to listen to.

Speaking of listening, I listened to the audiobook and both Gunnar Qualen and Jenna St. Claire did great jobs playing the multiple characters. I loved the duet type of reading and together, they really brought the story to life.
