About this listen

Presley

I don't care that he's a smooth talker. He can sweet-talk me all he likes, so long as he backs it up with an orgasm or two. But I'm not looking for a relationship. God, no. Not with a rock star.

Jett

I don't care that she argues with me and throws up walls like she's building a fucking house. Presley Hart will be mine. I'll make sure of it.

Contains mature themes.

Presley and Jet meet at a bar - he’s lead singer in a band she’s married to a lead singer in another band - what could go wrong?
Not sure it’s labelled correctly, but it’s a nice enough story from the audible plus catalog.

Good story, but not really Alpha Bad Boy

They were abrasive, far too quick to anger, petulant and irritating. The storyline had far too many different angst themes. The main would have sufficed and provided an incredibly moving story. The narrators seemed to emphasise all the characteristics that I disliked about Presley and Jet. Plus, Presley seemed to swing between being the most incredibly forgiving and understanding girlfriend to being a total bitch. I couldn’t keep up with the mood swings. Sadly, this will go down as the only Nina Levine book I didn’t particularly enjoy

I struggled with this one -

This is allegedly an ‘alpha bad boy novel’ however the hero is no alpha and no bad boy. The story is very hard to get into, lacking in any interesting drama and I found it impossible to really care what happened to anyone in it.

No alpha. No bad boy.
