A freak winter storm hits the cozy coastal town of Seaview Rock, leaving a small yacht wrecked on the shore. Taking part in the rescue effort, pet shop owner and amateur sleuth Will Sullivan is shocked to discover the body of a famous actress in the wreckage.
At first it seems like the starlet's death was just an accident, but as Will uncovers mysterious coincidences surrounding the odd event, he becomes convinced that the tragic event was actually a well-concealed murder.
