I’m a huge fan of Rachel Van Dyken and in particular the Eagle Elite series, and this novella gave me my fix. After the initial dramatic intro into the relationship between Amy ((Phoenix’s cousin) and Ax (Sergio’s brother), we fast forward a few years and the two best friends are reunited and thrown into a tumultuous relationship of sorts. A fun read that had all my favourite characters cracking jokes, they’ve got such dry senses of humour and I love their crazy antics. Not nearly as violent as the other books in the series but if you’re a fan of Eagle Elite it’s a great novella. The audio is narrated by Rock Engle (he was fab, totally dreamy in a mafia hitman kind of way), and Caitlin Davies.
