Not what I was expecting
This book was ok. For my taste it was more detailed on the poker games rather than situations between the main characters. I didn’t care for Marcus at all and couldn’t understand why Tera was so attracted to him. It had a good ending and the narration was good.

Lacked something
I was expecting so much more, we didn't get to know much about the characters and Mark was an arse! The narrator lacked energy and enthusiasm which didn't help. I received this book free

There are some sexual content, but it went pretty quickly . The plot as a whole was enjoyable, and could have enjoyed the romance, but it was hard to get past the characters lack of depth.

Not a Badboy
Tara is playing blackjack using her talent to win money for school. Mark sees her and thinks she is counting cards but it more, much more. Mark propositions her so that she has no choice but to help him try and get back into the poker world. Mark is a jerk that only thinks of himself.

Left me frustrated
This audiobook left me a bit frustrated. I really wanted to love it but I can't! The story lacks to much. You never get to know either of the main characters. Most of the time Marc was not a nice person and it made it a bit hard to understand why Tara kept going back to him. Tara is without family but also have just one friend - and you never know why. It was very strange since she seemed like a really likable girl. But you don't get to know her that much either.
The story would have been great if the writer had used more time to let us know the main characters better instead of telling a lot about poker. The poker part didn't annoyed me at all even though I have never played poker - but if the rest of the story had been told with as much care I think it would have been a greater book.
The narration by Guillaume Dubois was good, although when it got to the dialogue parts, I often got confused because it was a bit difficult to distinguish between the main characters.
