I enjoyed the story of Jen and Eli, plenty of sexy build up to some great sexy times. It had a good amount of intrigue and suspense, and a very satisfying ending with epilogues into their future. The narration by Stephen Dexter and Lidia Dornet was excellent. However, the story did feel unnecessarily wordy in places, which made the story drag a little.

My first book by Brynne Asher, great complex story, Twists and turns l loved.
Narration was enjoyable loved the accents.
Main characters really kept me engaged .
Looking forward to my next read of Brynne Asher.

Unexpected Story

While the core story is nice enough (predictable but still enjoyable), I often found myself fast forwarding during scenes that just fill pages but don’t add anything to the story.
And we get it, she loves shoes… after the tenth time it becomes a bit cumbersome.

All in all a decent spare time read.
