really enjoyed this audiobook, the narration was well done and well translated. it took me some time to get familiar with a lot of the names and locations , but the pacing is great, it's dark , and grim, but engaging the whole way through. Will read more of this author for sure

As the narrative twists and turns it’s impossible to stop listening. It is so dark and just when you think things can’t get worse, it does. I don’t want to go into specifics because I think going into the story blind is the best way to experience it.

I personally loved the ending. It confronts the reader and forces them to wrestle with the moral dilemma. What would we do if we were the retired police officer? And what does that mean about us as a person?

The narration is excellent and the translation from Chinese into English is particularly good.

10/10- I can’t wait to read more books by this author.
