Had me laughing out loud so much, great read, if you want, funny, lusty, feel good story, this is the one!

Really enjoyed book 1 of this new series lovely story of Jonah coming out and learning to love Gabriel and not to be agraid Greg is a master class of narration really love his voice. Max Walker books are always full of humour as well as romance and suspense.

Coming to terms with being gat is not easy but worth the effort. For me it takes me back to where I went wrong, this story covers it all but ends with that happy ever after we all need, mine not so much.

It was mostly ok!

I gotta say, I'm not a fan of the thumbnail as I don't think it fits the story. It doesn't match neither Fox nor Jonah...

As for the story, I've read some ultra-insta-romances, but this one really took the cake.

Their relationship developed in less than 24 hours. Then there was some plot dictates for the story to last slightly longer, but both the romance & mystery were blatantly obvious on the first day they met!

I honestly think this could've done with a bit of a slow-burn, especially as Jonah kept stating he's straight, but getting down & dirty with a man, should've at least had him considering that he was bi not straight!

It's not a bad story, it was just too much, too soon, IMO & author then finding non-believable reasons to delay the HEA 🤷‍♀️

I had such a good time listening to this, I adored both MMCs and their instant chemistry. I enjoyed their growth and development and the crime case kept me hooked, although this one felt less heavily featured than previous books I’ve read by this author.
Still this is one of my favourites for the romance plot.
And the narration was super too!!
