Reminds me of Last of the Breed, by Louis L'Amour (which I’d highly recommend) this is not the normal Brad Thor storyline but definitely worth reading as a continuation of the series.

Harvath escaping across frozen Russian landscape with help of natives and eventually comrades in spec ops. Keeps interest going, a big body count. Felt perhaps it was a bit long. Well narrated.
