I loved getting to see more of the MCs in this book and was completely caught up in the drama. Various pieces of the crime are coming together and I can't wait to see how it is resolved.

I thought the narration was well done. I especially thought the female narrator sounded tough like a police officer should.

Note: This book is part two in a series and needs to be read in order.

Travis and Alaina are back at it, investigating fires, but now it's becoming personal. Not only are they trying to find their way in their relationship, but now Alaina is hot on the trail of the person who hurt her family. Each fire is more dangerous than the last, and it scares both of them as they enter and investigate. But this last one truly was the worst, and now they know who is at the root. But will they catch him? Surprises from the past, as well as explosive chemistry keep this series moving! I am loving the mix of romance and suspense and cannot wait to hear the final book!

Carrie Coello and Rowan Knightly continue their fabulous narration. These two work really well together keeping the flow good and the characters real. I enjoyed their performance and look forward to more!
