Nice sequel to 'Cowgirl Up' , it's always good to 'see' what your fave characters are up to. I liked the idea of a cattle drive but I feel we were short changed, that angle could of been padded out to the benefit of the storyline. I like AS. best when she is describing the sights and sounds around her characters (as if you were there with them) !
I felt that Coal's emotional state became confusing and quite sad, there seemed to be a question mark over her feelings and trust for Mary Leah ? I think AS didn't mean for that outcome ?
I still like the combo of AS and HB even if it means the audiobooks are a bit samey 😉

I grew up watching cowboys on tv and I always wished that cowgirls existed, it seemed that men got all the fun! So I am so loving this storyline and it does not disappoint. I love hearing about the romance, lifestyle and cattle rides that come together to make a great western.
The narration is fantastic and is a joy to listen to.
I definitely recommend this audio book.

I like characters that are a little rougher, but still loving.
This was the first book in this series that I heard. I hadn't read it either... so everything was brand new to me.
I will definitely read or listen to the other books too. Let's see. The narrator sometimes didn't differentiate the voices enough. It was then difficult for me to assign the characters to the voice.
Otherwise it was good and also exciting.
I liked the dynamic of the book and also the family atmosphere.
The flirting wasn’t cool and less jealousy would have been better, but the author have to keep it a little rocky I think.,.
Otherwise, I really enjoyed it!
